DIY Wedding Sign

I was asked to make a sign for my cousin’s wedding, and here is what I came up with!1014387_10201626783295343_705056203_n

First, I cut my wood into 2 foot strips.

Then I stained the wood. I did about three coats.

I used thin strips of wood and staples to attach all the pieces together.

Then the fun part began! I used Silhouette stencil vinyl for the phrase “Happily Ever After Begins Here”. I cut the stencil and used a popsicle stick to make sure it was stuck to the wood. I lightly dabbed on the paint.

Be sure to peel the stencil off while the paint is still wet.

I cut a heart out of felt to attach the burlap roses to.

I followed THIS tutorial for making burlap roses. Then I hot glued the roses to the felt heart.

I hot glued the heart to the sign and was finished! Pretty easy and pretty cute!
